In this math crossword puzzle, I put 42 math operations. All horizontally, from left to right, and vertically, from top to bottom. There are all products in the range from 2 to 9, and a few simple multiplication operations by 10 or by 1. I entered only enough numbers in the crossword board to solve the whole task.
The math snakes start in this math crossword puzzle in several places. After solving successive multiplication fact operations, they finally connect to each other. Only by performing all the operations step by step is it possible to solve the entire math crossword puzzle.
The slightly easier version has an additional 4 numbers, which shortens the length of the math chains a bit. It’s also easier to make sure that all previous operations have been done correctly.
On this page you will find 4 pdf files that I prepared for self-printing. Two are for the normal version of the crossword puzzle for kids, and two more for the easier version. In the first file you will find only a math task to be printed or given to students during remote learning. The second version is a set: a mathematical crossword with answers.
