I have prepared a simple math crossword for kids with subtraction up to 50. Few examples, only 20 mathematical operations in the crossword, and one additional, slightly more complex math operation.
Although I like to go crazy with math activities, this time I prepared a more modest version of the crossword. With fewer math operation to make it easier to get started with math crossword puzzles. The set includes several math operation without exceeding and several with exceeding the decimal threshold.
To create this worksheet, I decided to use a larger font and fields. This makes the task clear to a larger group of children. I arranged all math operation in the simplest arrangement, horizontally from left to right and vertically from top to bottom.
I don’t always have the ability to print in color, so I used two diagrams to determine the final math operation in the exercise. Color scheme, or symbolic scheme, for the black and white version. Each of these versions has been saved in two PDF files for printing. You can use the exercise itself or a math crossword with answers.
