Pattern swatches – brick wall – coloring page

I have prepared an unusual coloring page, the pattern of which resembles a wall of irregular bricks. When drawing this motif, I wanted to create something that could serve as a template for testing different coloring techniques. I often wonder how different patterns, colors or shading could look on my coloring pages, so I decided that such a simple layout would be perfect for experiments.

Each “brick” is a space for trying out new ideas – from colors, through textures, to hand-drawn patterns. Here you can test shades of paints, markers or crayons and check how different techniques work together. It’s a bit like a color template, but instead of paint samples, you can experiment with what you can introduce into your works. Thanks to this, you can create your own collection of pattern swatches, which you will later use when coloring other drawings.

A coloring page can also be a great project in itself. Each brick can be colored in a different style – from simple colors, through more detailed patterns, to shading. The finished project will become a colorful mosaic, which is perfect as a decoration or inspiration for further art works.

This is a simple but versatile tool that can be both an inspiration and a place to develop your own art techniques. I hope it will help you discover new possibilities, just as it helps me!

I invite you to create your own unique compositions!
