I have another autumn suggestion for you – this time it’s a colouring page of a large oak leaf. It’s a simple picture with thick outlines, perfect for younger children who are just starting their adventure with coloring. Thanks to the clear lines, toddlers can easily follow the shape of the leaf and enjoy creating their own colourful masterpiece. The drawing itself is also large enough for children to really enjoy it.
This oak leaf is a slightly larger version of the picture tracing worksheet that I recently published. You can treat it as a supplement to that activity. Now kids can not only practice drawing, but also give free rein to their creativity by filling the leaf with their favourite colours. It’s a great way to get them into the fall mood and develop manual skills.
Trees for coloring: oak leaf in bold and easy coloring pages
The coloring page is perfect for coloring with crayons, markers, or even paints – it all depends on what technique your children like the most. You can also use different shades of green, brown, red, and yellow to show how leaves change in autumn. Or maybe your child wants to create a leaf in completely different, fanciful colors? Imagination knows no bounds!
Such a leaf can also become a beautiful autumn decoration – just cut it out and hang it in a window or on a wall. And if your toddler colors a few leaves, you can create a wonderful autumn garland from them.
I invite you to download the coloring page from my website and I wish you a lot of fun! May your children enjoy coloring and discover the joy of creation. 🍂 🎨
