As I promised with the previous coloring page, I also prepared this flower frame as a printable Mother’s Day card. Inside the heart, there is a simple “I Love You, Mom” message, so the picture is ready to color and give as a gift. No overthinking, no last-minute searching for the right words. Although, of course, there is always room for a few personal notes.
The main element of this card is a large heart surrounded by spring flowers. There are African daisies, tulips, forget-me-nots, as well as simplified versions of periwinkle and Spanish bluebells. The whole design feels light, floral, and a little spring-like, which is exactly what I wanted for a picture for Mom. Because moms and flowers are still a hard pair to beat. Well, maybe moms and coffee. But flowers look prettier on a card.
This Mother’s Day coloring page can work well at home, in preschool, or at school. Children can color it with crayons, markers, or pastels, and then give it to Mom as a finished handmade card. I left the “I Love You, Mom” message as large letters to color. This way, the text itself becomes part of the fun. Each letter can be filled with a different color, decorated with dots, stripes, or gentle little patterns. The heart can be pastel, pink, red, rainbow-colored, or completely different, because with this kind of project, the most important thing is that it comes from the heart.
It is a simple, spring Mother’s Day card to color, but it gives quite a few possibilities.
