Sometimes there are moments when we would like to give someone close a simple pleasure. For a birthday, Valentine’s Day, or just for no other occasion. Something nice and sweetly charming at the same time. This coloring page was created with this in mind – an entire page filled with rows and columns of small tiles, and each of them contains a hand-drawn little heart.
I decided to try something different, using a new drawing program, so the lines are more uneven and resemble drawings from a hand-drawn sketchbook. The intention was for the lines to look even more like they were drawn with a crayon, but this time I couldn’t achieve that effect. It’s a shame, but in the end I liked the drawing – these imperfections add charm and give the whole thing a cozy, slightly more natural character.
This coloring page is a great idea for Valentine’s Day, but its use can be much wider. You can color the hearts and give the finished work to someone close, create a greeting card or a little surprise from it.
What’s more, the heart tiles are a bit like buttons in games – each frame is like another “level” to fill with colors. Or a small “mission” behind which something nice is hidden – a hug, a warm word, or maybe help. For children, this can be an additionally attractive form of play.

Coloring these small frames requires precision, so they are suitable for both older preschoolers and school-age children. Each heart can be in a different color, which will create a beautiful mosaic, full of joyful colors and unique patterns. These types of projects not only teach patience, but also allow you to develop creativity – you can try adding your own details or patterns. Simple or complicated patterns. You can give the tiles a unique look, creating a colorful mosaic or a harmonious composition.
And if you want, you can cut out each small frame. Treat it as a point to collect. Sometimes such simple elements make it easier for us to communicate with children. Especially those who are perhaps a little less empathetic.
