Today I have something truly universal for you – a worksheet with a gift for tracing lines! This simple but charming drawing shows a gift box with a bow, which I decorated with patterns so that children can practice their graphomotor skills. This is a great task for December – ideal before St. Nicholas Day, Christmas, but also perfect for birthdays or other gift-giving occasions.
The task of the children is to trace the lines placed on both the box and the bow. On the one hand, they are a decorative element of the box, and on the other – they provide an opportunity to improve small motor skills. They help develop precise hand movements and prepare for learning to write. Tracing requires concentration and patience, which makes this task not only fun, but also educational.
I have prepared two versions of this exercise – one with a dashed line and the other with a continuous line, so that the level of difficulty can be adjusted to the child’s skills. After tracing lines, kids can color the gift, creating their own unique design.
This exercise not only develops fine motor skills, but also introduces children to the atmosphere of holiday preparations or the joy associated with gifts. It is ideal for playing together at home, as well as a task for preschoolers or younger students.
I invite you to download this worksheet and wish you great fun with drawing and coloring! 🎁 ✨
