This time I prepared a simple flower frame to color. I wanted the flowers to be easy and pleasant to fill with color, so they do not have too many tiny details. They are more symbolic than realistic, a bit like flowers from children’s drawings or decorative cards. But that was exactly the idea.
I wanted this coloring page to feel light, calm, and leave a little room for your own ideas. The flowers have simple petals, the leaves are not overly detailed, and the whole design creates a round frame with an empty space in the middle. Thanks to that, you can use it not only as a flower coloring page, but also as the beginning of a larger art project.
Why did I draw this coloring page?
It can become a floral frame for a picture. Inside the frame, you can draw a spring scene. A meadow, a little house, the sun, a bouquet, Mom’s smiling face, or something completely different. You can also add colorful butterflies, busy little bees, dragonflies, or ladybugs. And if you have some colored paper nearby, a few cut-out butterflies glued next to the flowers will instantly give the project a lovely 3D touch.
