This time, I’m sharing a more decorative Easter egg design in the form of a coloring page. It reminds me a bit of those fancy eggs you see in stores before Easter – carefully painted, sometimes with metallic details or even tiny jewel-like decorations. The kind of eggs that look beautiful displayed in a cabinet or on a shelf.
I didn’t plan for the design to be this orderly. But as I kept drawing, the lines naturally began to flow into rhythmic curves, and then came the teardrops, dots, and repeating shapes that gave the whole egg a more elegant look.
Even though the pattern may seem more intricate, the coloring spaces are still fairly large, so there’s no need to worry – older kids or adults looking for a bit of relaxing fun should have no trouble with it. For younger children, I recommend the version with thicker lines.
Yes – I’ve included two versions again. One with thinner lines, and one with bold, clear outlines.
You can go for a classic look – soft pastels, traditional holiday colors – or try something completely different. Maybe those little shapes will turn into shiny gemstones? For me, it’s just another chance to play with color without sticking to any rules.
This design fits well into the full set of Easter eggs available on my website. And then? You can turn them into your own Easter collection – at home, in preschool, or in a classroom.
Let me know if this one makes it into your collection!
