This time I have a coloring page with a balcony window for you. A very flower-filled one, just the way I like it most. Herbs, flowers, and little fruit trees. Tasty, healthy, and colorful. I always notice windows like this in city spaces. I have to admit, they really catch the eye.
This drawing came partly from curiosity. I wanted to try my hand at drawing architecture, because I haven’t done that in a long time. So far, only a few cottages have appeared among my coloring pages — more or less successful ones. This time I didn’t want to draw a whole little house, but just one more detailed fragment: a balcony window with flowers. A few pots and flowers. A decorative stone frame and a simple railing.
At the same time, I’m also testing which drawing technique will work best for me with these more detailed coloring pages. So this picture is not only a ready-to-print coloring page, but also part of my small trials and practice. After some time, I’ll try to draw a similar motif with different tools and then compare the results. I’m curious myself which version will feel closer to what I’d like to develop further.
