Blooming tulip – stained glass coloring page to print

Some ideas come unexpectedly. This tulip was drawn during a moment when I just needed to relax. I picked up my colored pencils without any particular plan, sketching a simple flower. But something was missing… Then I remembered my previous experiments with neurographic art. I started adding rounded lines, forming irregular shapes that began to resemble stained glass pieces.

Coloring this artwork was an absolute pleasure. Bit by bit, I added colors, trying to achieve the effect of glass tiles. But that’s another story.

This spring tulip coloring page is a direct adaptation of my original colored pencil drawing. Its bold, black outlines resemble the strong lead framework of real stained glass. You can use any coloring technique — thick lines provide plenty of possibilities! Whether you choose colored pencils, markers, or even paints, pick whatever works best for you to create your own version of this floral artwork.

This tulip coloring page is ready to download in two formats: Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) and A4 (210 x 297 mm). Simply pick the one that’s right for you.

But here’s another idea — why not use this page as inspiration for your own drawing? Maybe the original colored pencil tulip drawing I shared earlier will spark even more creativity.

And what about a puzzle? Imagine turning this drawing into a coloring puzzle — first, color it in, then cut it into smaller pieces and put it back together! That could be a fun and unexpected way to enjoy this design!

I hope this coloring page brings you as much joy as I had while creating it. Download, print, and have fun with colors!

This tulip also has a simplified bold and easy coloring page version, available in a separate post.
