Birthday cake – picture tracing worksheets and coloring

As I promised, after the cake coloring page, I have prepared something special – a graphomotor exercise, in which children can trace a delicious birthday cake! This is a great opportunity not only to have fun, but also to exercise your hand before learning to write.

The birthday cake I have prepared is more than just a drawing. It is a two-tiered cake decorated with chocolate balls, colored icing and twisted candles – perfect for any celebration! The children’s task is to copy this cake, which perfectly supports the development of fine motor skills and prepares them for writing.

I have prepared two variants of the exercise – one with a dashed line and the other with a solid line. Thanks to this, you can adjust the level of difficulty to the child’s skills. Graphomotor exercises are a great way to develop precision of hand movements and eye-hand coordination. And we know how important it is for hands to be agile and healthy – this is a skill needed at any age!

Once your child has finished tracing, the birthday cake can also be colored, creating a fully personalized cake – perfect for any occasion, from a birthday to an anniversary or other celebration. This activity is not only educational, but also a great opportunity for kids to express their creativity.

I invite you to download this worksheet and practice together! Have fun creating beautiful, colorful cakes! 🎂

You can find the coloring page with a birthday cake in the earlier entry.
