If you are looking for a way to introduce children to learning addition, you can use the ten frames worksheets. This is a method of coloring and counting the dots that appear in a math operation.
The children’s task is to read the mathematical operation and color the appropriate number of dots in the frame. For the first number, children choose one color of crayon or marker, and for the second number – the other color. After coloring the dots, they can count and thus discover the result of the math operation.
