Addition and subtraction to 10 – maths for kids

Recently, I received a request from you to put on the website a blank worksheet for adding maths exercises in the range up to 10. Such for self-entry of selected math operation.

So I am posting just such a card here. It can be used as a base for addition or subtraction exercises up to 10. Color and black and white versions.

The concept of the first task is to do an addition or a subtraction. Each of the added numbers should be marked in a block of squares with a different color or pattern. This allows kids to read the result simply by counting the squares.

In this way, you can practice simple operations where you need to calculate a sum and a difference. But also those in which the sum component should be calculated, i.e. the complement to the given result.
